I love the New Year.
It's always such a fresh start and no matter what you didn't complete the year before, the New Year will always bring you that possibility of a new clean slate, so tomorrow is the day to start.
I know I am not one to keep my resolutions, I'm making them anyways. Because tomorrow is the day, remember?
Here is my Top 20.
1. Wake up earlier
I hear that waking up earlier is the best way to get the most out of your day. I am aiming for the 5 am mark.
2. Do more charity work
I am so blessed, I need to return all this good karma.
3. Show my appreciation
Something I forget to do sometimes.
4. Exercise more
3 months in America in 2014 definitely doesn't look good on the scales.
5. Save money
I always want to save more.
7. Complain less
I should have nothing to complain about. I just have to remind myself to take a breather every now and again.
8. Eat less sugar
Family full of diabetes genes. Should really watch my sugar intake
9. Get my drivers license
Spent thousands of kroner now, but still can't legally drive without a guardian.
10. Go back to school.
Gonna give schooling another shot, and hoping hard that I'll do well.
11. Write more cards
I have always enjoyed writing snail mails, and I think people stopped doing that these days, so if no one else wants to do it, I'll do it.
12. Blog more
I have always enjoyed writing, so I want to try and find the time to sit and write every now and then.
13. Improve my language skills
Heading to a proper Norwegian Course now - finally. But definitely want to make sure I don't forget the languages I do already know.
Occasionally I get too hyped up about life and thing and getting into the rat race, that I forget to remind myself about what's most important. I am hoping to find time to brace that inner hippie I am.
15. Love unconditionally.
I know that some people love me unconditionally, and in many respects I should learn how to do it too. Emotional things aren't my forte.
16. Learn to play the piano
This is one of those life goals easy enough to achieve but I can never seem to get there.
17. Learn how to ski
Refer to the resolution above.
18. Clean my own home more often
I hate cleaning, but love a clean house.
19. Never be late, keep organised.
I am starting to slip with my organisational skills, I used to never be late. But now, I'm always 5-10 minutes late. And since that is a pet peeve of mine, I got to make sure I correct it within myself first.
20. Enjoy living.
Somehow I managed to secure myself all the nicest people in the world around me, so this shouldn't be too hard.
